I am broadly interested in how environmental stressors or disturbances affect marine communities. More specifically, I aim to study how the interactions between species in benthic communities might alter with ocean acidification by using a combination of mesocosm and field manipulation experiments. Some of my past research revolved around stomatopod feeding behavior, aquaculture and bioremediation, and marsh pollution assessment through foraminifera response. Before starting graduate school, I was an AmeriCorps member working on watershed and salmon conservation.
